Beautiful Day's Information

Beautiful Day is one of many ministries of Living Hope Christian Fellowship.  Beautiful Day seeks to find community projects that need volunteer help.  Each project is a no-strings-attached service, as our entire congregation goes out and works for the day in Oakdale.

Our goal is to spread compassion, to discard apathy in favor of activity, and to bring good will in the neighborhoods in which we work and live.

Come help us have a direct and positive effect on Oakdale!

Beautiful Day's Details

For the last two years, we have given Citizen’s Cemetery some tender loving care.  Nearly 150 people entered through the gates of the cemetery and did not leave until the entire cemetery was well-groomed.  There were rakes, shovels, hand tools, weed whackers, power washers, mowers of all sizes, paint sprayers and brushes. .  Many hands delicately washed the head stones. 

Our next projects are as of yet undetermined. Specifics will be announced as they are decided. The satisfaction of working together and seeing a large project accomplished within a day is worth all the effort that goes into making the day beautiful!
